Profile: The multi-talented Bulinki the Tailor

Known for his extra ordinary voice “Bulinki” is a Multi-disciplinary artist and aspiring
businessman, who was born and bred in the streets of Namakgale, Phalaborwa within
the Limpopo Province.

2016-07-02 17.39.22.jpgBulinki is a talented singer, songwriter, producer, composer, fashion designer and rapper. Fondly known to his audience as
Bulinki The Tailor, he is a young artist with a distinct husky but soothing voice, that
gives a rich sound to his music.

He recently released his debut EP project
BLACKLIPS TAPE with the smash hit A RE FIHLA featuring Pretoria-based MC Mloper. The song air-played live on various radio stations and gained popularity, although it was just a teaser from his catalogue of upcoming hits.

The Tailor is also a founder of the aspiring record label TAILOP MUSIC, which seeks to provide fellow Limpopo artists a platform to showcase their skills. Bulinki, as well as long-term confidant/manager Joshua Chauke, have both been involved in the organizing of the newly formed social market, THE STREET MARKET PHALABORWA™“SMP” that promotes multi-faceted artwork in photography, painting, beading, music, fashion, craft work, among the youth.

The events hosted by The Street Market movement, are developed by a young intercultural crew who pursue art as a tool of improving their communities, social standing and themselves as individuals.

Bulinki recently delivered a highly captivating performance at a Phalaborwa event which definitely left the audience in awe. From humble beginnings, this musician is tailoring the path for ALL Limpopo youth towards a crime- and drug-free, brighter future.

Profile: Get to know “Enegitik G” from Mafikeng, North West.

Meet Goitsemodimo Phoi (Enegitik G) who is an up and coming self-taught producer and vocalist, born in a small village on the outskirts of Mafikeng North West. 

He fell in love with music in the year 2006, 2007 and then he moved to Jozi and  met Lil Bobster K and NJ, they got along and formed a group in 2009 (2deep) but later in 2009 they went their separate ways, in that year  Enegitik G decided to form a new group (the village) with 2 members ,DJ specks and Dj Friendly Soul.

They recorded their promo disc in 2012 the rest is history. They’ve performed in various places around Mafikeng Northwest, “but in 2014 I’ve decided to do my solo project .because I have the ability to create my own powerful sound” Enegitik G said.

Meet Homeboy the General Real name  Bongekile Nqiyama born in a small town in the Eastern Cape Called Engcobo, currently residing in Cape Town khayelitsha he is a hiphop/kasirap artist that is dedicated in conIMG-20140819-00152scious, hardcore, love, social issues and everyday life that is happening in the ghetto, building an intimate Relationship with his fans through their experiences and his too.

His aim is to bring back the message and life in the South African music industry. Homeboy’s passion of music began in April 2013 and he has grown as an artist, his music playlisted on Local radio hip hop shows such as Bushradio, Radio Zbonele, UCR FM now he is in the studio recording his 1st Mixtape titled: “Kasi Library”, Homeboy the General is featured on a sound tracks compilation project that Feats cats all over S.A North West, Limpopo , Gauteng, Western Cape, Free State, Northern Cape, KZN, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, and neighbouring SADC states of Swaziland, Botswana & Lesotho.
